As expected Governor Kay Ivey signed into law a bill that would allow execution by nitrogen hypoxia if lethal injection is unavailable or is declared unconstitutional or if the prisoner elects nitrogen hypoxia as the method of execution.

 Michael Eggers, a man with a history of severe mental illness, is scheduled to be executed tomorrow. His former attorneys who he fired have filed an appeal with the U.S. Supreme Court asking for a stay. We hope that you will call Governor Ivey and ask the Governor to halt all executions.
