Weekly Report from the Board Meeting at Holman Prison 5.23.18

We applaud the defense attorneys in Dothan who requested a unanimous jury vote for a death sentence in an upcoming capital punishment case. It was denied by the judge, nevertheless it is good to keep the fact that we are the only state that does not require that and what it says about how backward that makes Alabama in front of the public.

It has been a busy week at Holman. Not only have many board members written for the possible story about the organization but we are also working on the newsletter. Not that I am biased, but lots of good work is being done! We submitted the articles from various PHADP board members this morning and already hear d back from Lauren Gill the freelance journalist: “Wow these are all really great and very moving. Please thank the guys for taking the time out to write them.”

We will keep you updated and also want our European supporters to know that they are included in the background of what we do, actually what they do!

See you next week!
