Weekly Report from the Board Meeting at Holman Prison 11.28.18

Weekly Report from the Board Meeting at Holman Prison 11.28.18

The focus of our meeting today was formatting our Christmas edition of Wings of Hope so it could be on its way to Esther and the printer. It is truly a labor of love and the men do a great job putting it all together beginning with collecting the articles, typing the articles and finally pasting them. As it is our Christmas edition you can look forward to creative decorations appropriate to the season.

Also, as we know that Christmas follows Thanksgiving we have been busy assembling an updated list of names for our Christmas card list so that potential Christmas angels can send cards to the men at Holman. The cards are always very much appreciated and we thank you in advance! We have posted the list on our Facebook page, Esther’s page and on our website http://www.phadp.org/?q=node/748.

In these weeks leading up to Christmas we are going to attempt to keep these Weekly Notes as positive as we can and only briefly touch on the negativity in the world at large and in ours in particular. As mentioned we have posted Talking Points for the execution date in early February but will not start a concerted effort asking you to contact Governor Ivey on behalf of Domique Ray until after Christmas. Too early! Also briefly, there was an article last week about the lack of protocol for the new execution process 7 months after the bill was signed. We are happy to wait!

See you next week!
