We were excited to receive the acceptance letter for our article for the Mississippi Quarterly and are proud to quote in part:” Based on your proposal, we are pleased to accept your essay for our special issue, “Mass Incarceration in the U.S. South,” in Mississippi Quarterly!

At a time when many of you will not be able to travel to be with your families at Christmas we are more aware and grateful than ever that when we say we are family it really is that way. And yes, once we are in the New Year we will be hitting the ground running, to quote our Chairman! We have lots to work on!

Thank you to all who remembered us at Christmas! You brought such joy to us and much more than you could possibly imagine! THANK YOU!!

In closing and as always, we continue to thank all our generous donors who either gave by going to our website and using the “donate” button or who gave directly. Thank you also to all who took the time to read our notes, commented, liked and shared them on Facebook. You encourage us and make all the difference. We wish you the peace, joy and love of this very special season and look forward to working together in 2021! Stay safe!
